CAPE TOWN – Experts are sounding the alarm over government’s intention to cancel statutory environmental-impact assessments for certain categories of development at the Kruger National Park.

The Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment gazetted this for public comment earlier this year, but fewer than ten comments have been made.

One of them is from Richard Summers, an attorney and environmental law specialist.

Summers spoke to eNCA.
